Corporations Can't Afford to Cancel Christmas

I have heard it on news reports and from local vendors, corporations are cancelling Christmas. I don't believe any company can afford to cancel any event or celebration that boosts morale.  In an article published by Edward Lowe Foundation it is stated that in order to boost company morale during an economic downturn "...celebrate holidays.  Even if budgets are tight and morale is low, hold festive gatherings to pump up the team".  I whole heartedly agree.

Clearing Up Vendor Confusion

Old Marriage, something to be thankful for

I will not apologize for calling my parents and in-law's marriages "old". Today a marriage that lasts past the 10 year mark is a remarkable feat it seems. So I am thankful to call their marriages old.

Pinned to death

I was married in the 80's.  My dress was fluffy, my hair was fluffy and my trend setting decor was balloons and paper bells. Despite the poor decorations I managed to enjoy a great 27 year old marriage after having planned my wedding day without the aid of Pinterest.
